Skilled Occupations are various highly skilled job positions that potential applicants can apply for to live in Australia and work indefinitely or temporarily. The occupation must be listed under different immigration programs available in Australia.

If you seek to live and work in Australia on permanent or temporary basis as a skilled immigrant, you must nominate your respective skilled occupation that is acceptable under various programs mentioned above.

If you wish to apply for an independent or Temporary Graduate (Subclass 485) - Graduate Work Stream or Family Sponsored Points Tested visa, you must nominate an occupation from the Skilled Occupations List (SOL). If you need skills assessment as a part of your visa application, you must contact the assessing authority to obtain skill assessment and provide all important application forms and relevant information pertaining to the assessment.
